The Melodic Journey of an Accomplished Educator

With over three decades of professional background, Lisa Kay Malek has built a reputation as a dedicated and passionate musical educator. Since 1991, she has specialized in teaching piano performance and musical theory, helping students of all ages develop a lifelong appreciation for musical arts. Lisa holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from the University of Texas at San Antonio, with an emphasis in music, and is currently pursuing her master's degree. Her vast expertise allows her to adapt her teaching methods to meet the individual needs of each pupil, ensuring success and fostering a deep connection to the compositions being learned.

Throughout her career, Lisa has remained active in the musical community, serving as a board member for the San Antonio Music Teachers Association and being involved with various prestigious organizations such as the Music Teachers National Association and the American College of Musicians. She continues to expand her knowledge by attending seminars and conferences, always striving to enhance her teaching skills. In 2011, Lisa had the honor of judging the San Antonio Achievement Auditions, and she currently serves as the Recital Coordinator for the San Antonio Music Teachers Association, further contributing to the local musical community and offering students valuable performance opportunities.
